Valerio Tesoro

Born in Rome, Valerio began studying the piano at the age of six under the guidance of Maestro Francesco Micozzi. He continued his studies at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, in the class of M. Marialaura Proietti Salvatori. In 2021, he obtained his first-level academic diploma with top marks, honours, and a special mention. He has attended masterclasses in piano and chamber music with renowned international teachers, including Enrico Pace, Elisabeth Leonskaja, Andrea Lucchesini and Benedetto Lupo, as well as orchestral conducting masterclasses with Maestro Francisco Navarro Lara.
The winner of numerous national and international competition prizes, Valerio performs as both a soloist and a member of chamber ensembles throughout Italy and is regularly invited to perform at various occasions. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Musical Performance at the Musik-Akademie in Basel under the guidance of M. Filippo Gamba. He also attends M. Edoardo Torbianelli’s fortepiano and historical performance class at the same institute.
