YangZiHao studied under renowned U.S. Piano Educator and UNESCO “Outstanding Artist”, Mai Su, in 2015. The following year, he was admitted to the Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM), placing first nationally in Piano in 2016 and third in 2024. His competition accolades include: First Place in the 3rd Hope Cup Youth Piano Competition (2015); First Place in Beethoven and Liszt Open Groups, 5th Euler International Piano Competition and Junior Music Club Group B Prize (2017); the 4th Hope Cup Professional Group Prize and Philadelphia International Piano Festival Professional Group Prize (2018); the 7th Global Outstanding Young Players Selection Competition Junior Group B Prize (2019); the Beijing Secondary Vocational School Music Keyboard Performance Skills Competition Prize (2020); First Place in the Elevato International Youth Piano Competition Group D, Vancouver International Piano Competition Group A, and China Professional Youth Group (2022); the Liszt International Youth Piano Competition National Prize and Finalist at the Jize International Piano Elite Invitational Tournament in Hanover, Germany (2023).
He has received guidance from distinguished pianists including Gary Graffman, Klaus Baesler, Matti Raekallio, Katarina Popova, Eva Poprozka, Peter Palezzine, Peter Wass, and others.
