Salary Grade: £26,093 to £28,778 per annum (actual pro-rata salary £15,655.80 to £17,266.80 per annum)

The RNCM’s award-winning Library is looking to recruit to its small, dedicated team a part-time Senior Library Assistant (Inter-Library loans). The main duties for the successful applicant will be managing the RNCM’s Inter-library loan service, staffing the main service point, assisting users with enquiries and helping students with IT and other equipment. An excellent knowledge of classical music (preferably with a formal qualification), good communication, interpersonal and IT skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure, are essential requirements. Experience of working within a library or similar customer-service environment would be advantageous.
