New release for RNCM Viola Tutor

RNCM Viola Tutor Veit Hertenstein has released a new recording of Shostakovich Sonatas.

Featuring pianist Minze Kim, the album includes an arrangement for viola of the composer’s Sonata for Cello and Piano in D minor Op 40, one of the most commanding chamber works of his early years, and his Sonata for Viola and Piano Op 147, written one month before his death.

It’s released on the Hänssler Classic label and is available to buy via all major platforms.
