RNCM extends partnerships with Zhejiang Conservatory of Music

The RNCM is thrilled to extend its partnership with Zhejiang Conservatory of Music.

Building on an existing relationship, Professor Linda Merrick and colleagues met with President Wang Rui and Vice President Wang Yang earlier this week for an online signing ceremony.

Officially opening in March 2016, ZJCM is situated in Hangzhou (the capital of China’s Zhejiang Province) and provides exceptional tuition to young musicians at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This exciting partnership gives students and staff the chance to experience both conservatoires through collaborative projects and curriculum initiatives as well as student and teacher exchange programmes.

Professor Merrick said: ‘We pride ourselves on giving students real world experiences during their studies, both in the UK and internationally. Our renewed partnership with Zhejiang Conservatory of Music is testament to our commitment to providing an outstanding teaching and learning environment and I’m looking forward to developing it further over the next few years.’
