A total of 42 students submitted business plans and project proposals this year, 11 of which were asked to pitched their ideas – ‘Dragon’s Den style’ – to a panel of external judges. The final took place on Thursday 21 March and we were thrilled to welcome Lawrence Jones MBE (UKFast), Henna Riaz (HRR Entertainment, 2016 Business Woman of the Year), James Sargeant (Institutional Business Manager, Yamaha) and Vikas Shah MBE (Swisscot).

It was extremely competitive and the panel were overwhelmed by the potential of each student, the quality demonstrated in their presentations and the diversity of each project pitched to them.’  Hannah McCabe, RNCM Fellow in Creative and Professional Practice
