RNCM Futures 2019 Entrepreneurship Award-Winners

Launched in 2016, the RNCM Futures Entrepreneurship Award is an opportunity for students to win a financial award and mentor support for projects and businesses they are developing.

A total of 42 students submitted business plans and project proposals this year, 11 of which were asked to pitched their ideas – ‘Dragon’s Den style’ – to a panel of external judges. The final took place on Thursday 21 March and we were thrilled to welcome Lawrence Jones MBE (UKFast), Henna Riaz (HRR Entertainment, 2016 Business Woman of the Year), James Sargeant (Institutional Business Manager, Yamaha) and Vikas Shah MBE (Swisscot).

The RNCM Futures Entrepreneurship Award is an exciting opportunity for all students to develop their artistic and entrepreneurial ambition, to learn from today’s leading entrepreneurs and to win up to £1000 with mentoring to support the development of their project. 

This year’s finalists demonstrated an outstanding level of professionalism and creativity.
