RNCM Reed Room opens

We officially opened our new Reed Room on Tuesday 18 June.

The space was recently renovated thanks to the generosity of our Principal’s Circle, creating an enviable learning environment for double reed students.

Reedmachines.com and oboes.ch have kindly sponsored new reed making equipment in the purpose-built space, with Renato Bizzotto and Ruud Telkamp visiting the College to demonstrate their products.

Oboe tutor Stéphane Rancourt said: ‘We want to say a big thank you to Renato and Ruud for sponsoring the room and for choosing to support the RNCM; I think we are the only conservatoire in the UK to have this facility, which is wonderful for our students.’
