Andrew began teaching in 1997, and has taught in higher education since 2006. His students have gone on to perform in opera houses in the UK and abroad, and on the West End.
A native of Sydney Australia, Andrew began singing professionally in 1987, as a treble with the Australian Opera Childrens’ Chorus. Then in his early twenties he again sang with Opera Australia as part of the Chorus. This was followed by a move to the United Kingdom for further study at the RNCM.
Andrew’s repertoire is predominantly Italian operatic baritone roles and oratorio, but spans contemporary opera and song repertoire. He has also sung in cathedral choirs, on TV jingles, and on Musical Theater and Country and Western recordings.
Andrew is a graduate of the University of New South Wales and the RNCM, and studied with Neil Easton OAM, Peter Alexander Wilson, and Mignon Dunn.
