  • Oversee and manage the College Timetable of activities, in liaison with stakeholders including: Programmes and Assessment Manager, Schools of Study, Orchestras and Ensembles, RNCM Engage and Performance and Programming, maintaining a holistic overview of all timetabled activity.
  • Responsible for the ownership of ASIMUT, management of business processes and data integrity, necessary for the strategic and operational delivery of ASIMUT at the RNCM in close liaison with BSDU.
  • Provide a first/second level help desk support for all users of ASIMUT and liaise with key users on their specific operational requirements as well as evaluating, trouble-shooting and resolving any issues arising, including support for students.
  • Coordinate scheduling of key cyclical college-wide events such as live practical/performance-based assessments (recitals) and Welcome Week.

Jack is responsible for ensuring appropriate and efficient usage of space across the RNCM estate. He is responsible for balancing the demands of all activity within the building, in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.

Jack oversees the room booking platform ASIMUT, and within Academic Services is responsible for delivering process changes, improvements and new developments to enhance student and staff interaction with the system. Jack can be contacted about any concerns or issues relating to the booking of student practice rooms.

Jack manages the Rooms team which oversees the efficient delivery and timetabling of the academic and principal study curriculums as well as managing the administration of any piano tunings and instruments moves alongside the Operations and Technical teams. Outside of the RNCM, Jack is an experienced producer, studio and live engineer, mixer and technician and has worked in a wide range of professional environments including the RSC, BBC, Midlands Arts Centre, Middle Farm Studios, Rockfield Studios, 2000Trees, Isle of Wight Festival and The Great Escape.
