Philippe has secured a place among the finest musicians of his generation. In addition to his role as Principal Oboe with the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, the SWR Symphony Orchestra and the Saito Kinen Orchestra Matsumoto, he is a member of the Mito Chamber Orchestra and the newly-founded Kammer Ensemble Paris. Prior to this, he was Solo Oboe with both the Budapest Festival Orchestra (2014 – 2020) and Gewandhaus Orchestra in Leipzig (2016 – 17).
