- Provides strategic leadership of the College’s professional support services and advises the Principal and Directorate on the full range of issues and commercial opportunities in estates and venues, IT, catering and HR.
- Responsible for strategic developments and continuous improvement to ensure an effectice and efficient support service.
- Accountable for ensuring that the physical infrastructure is fit for purpose and maintained to a high standard.
- Responsible for overall health and safety matters within the College.
Prior to joining the RNCM in 2008, Susan was Assistant Director, Corporate Services at Hopwood Hall College; Director of Operations in a large science department at the University of Warwick; and prior to that held a variety of senior posts at the universities of Cambridge, Sussex, and Waterloo (Canada). She has administrative experience in Mathematics, Medicine, Social Sciences, and Alumni and Development. She has also worked in the pharmaceutical industry.
