About
The RNCM Wind Orchestra revisits Dances with Winds two decades after its original Chandos Records recording, presenting a fresh and exhilarating programme. Featuring three works from the original album – Hesketh’s Danceries, Corigliano’s Gazebo Dances, and Gorb’s Yiddish Dances – this concert replaces Skalkottas’ Greek Dances with Luis Serrano Alarcón’s Duende, a vibrant, flamenco-infused suite. A new work by RNCM student composer Florencio You adds another exciting layer, while staff and students perform side-by-side in this dynamic celebration of wind music.
