About: Recognised as one of the most talented and influential musicians, songwriters and producers in the world, guitarist Nile Rodgers’ back catalogue contains some of the greatest sounds of all time. Impressed by our pioneering Popular Music degrees, he first engaged with the RNCM in October 2020 by presenting an online masterclass to students during lockdown alongside industry expert Merck Mercuriadis. Since then, Nile has visited the College and supported a number of our campaigns to secure the future of music.

Did you know? Both Nile and Merck were presented with RNCM Honorary Professorships in 2020 in recognition of their significant contribution to music.
