He has been blind from birth, and since winning the joint Gold Medal at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2009, he has gone on to earn an international reputation for the passion and excitement he brings to his live performances.

Through his authenticity, brilliant musicality, and remarkable sensitivity, Tsujii creates a bridge between the composer and the audience.
