About the Support
Izzy Taylor
Izzy Taylor is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter with a soulful voice and a deep passion for storytelling. Her music delves into the messy, complicated emotions that many shy away from, tackling themes of love, loss, and sacrifice with raw honesty.
Awarded a scholarship to study Classical Voice and Opera at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM), Izzy continues to develop her craft while staying true to her own artistic identity.
With over a decade of musical theatre training, she knows how to connect with an audience on a personal level. Every performance is deeply felt, ensuring that people don’t just hear the music—they experience it.
A defining element of Izzy’s sound is her collaboration with pianist and best friend Bart Zagamé. Together, they create music that is deeply personal yet universally resonant, using their songs to express what words alone cannot. Their natural musical chemistry allows them to craft a sound that is authentic, expressive, and entirely their own.
Beyond her solo work, Izzy finds joy and inspiration as a member of the RNCM Gospel Choir. The power of voices coming together, bound by a shared love of music, fuels her passion for performance. Under the guidance of Wayne Ellington, she continues to push her vocal and artistic boundaries, growing both as a singer and a storyteller.
Izzy Taylor is an artist who believes that true artistry lies in vulnerability and emotional truth. With a bold and distinctive voice, she is carving out a path that is genuine, heartfelt, and deeply moving.
Mollie Swaine
Mollie is a 22 year old musician in her 4th year here at RNCM. Her musical passions lie within the realms of soul, jazz and RnB which combined blossoms her love for gospel.
Growing up in Manchester, Bristol and South Africa, Mollie was exposed to all kinds of music from a very young age. This also lead to her studying at Chetham’s School of Music for two years.
Last Christmas Mollie sang backing vocals at Manchester Christmas Gospel at Band on the Wall, performing with Beverly Knight, Clinton Jordan, Janine Dyer and our very own Wayne Ellington.
Mollie is thrilled to be once again joining Wayne and the Gospel Choir.
Brennan Alleyne
Brennan is a singer and multi-instrumentalist currently in the first year of his Masters at the Royal Northern College of Music in the UK, with support from the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation and the Haworth Trust. Brennan has built a broad and varied performance portfolio thus far at venues ranging from the Royal Albert Hall to Gentse Feesten, recording or performing with artists at the top of many fields including Andrea Bocelli, Danny Elfman, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Ralph Allwood, SAULT, Cleo Soul, Inflo, Michael Kiwanuka, Little Simz, One Republic, Michael W. Smith, Ralph Allwood, Keith Urban, and others.
He has won the Williams-Howard Award, the George Shirley International Vocal Competition, and his performances at the Royal Albert Hall include the finals of Music For Youth. With over two decades of experience in professional ensembles, Brennan prides himself on how he works with others in pursuit of meaningful and outstanding performances.
He began directing choirs in his teens, working with school and community groups to develop skills teaching music to people of varying musical ability and by the time he began his university education he was a confident choral director. Brennan directed the Leicester University Voices for two years, leading them to compete in the finals of the national UGCY competition in 2017 and 2018, placing second in 2017. After moving to Manchester he began working with Wayne Ellington on various gospel projects including assistant directing the RNCM Gospel Choir.
