Think you know your Beethoven? Enter our competition!

So you think you know your Beethoven? You may know your 5th from your 9th symphony but how much do you really know about the man himself?

As part of our Ludwig van RNCM Chamber Music Festival, John Suchet of Classic FM’s morning show will be shedding new light on the difficult and complex character in an exciting lecture called Beethoven: The Man Revealed on Saturday 12 January.

For the chance to win tickets to the lecture or one of several Beethoven recitals coming up in our Chamber Festival (running from 11-13 January), check out our new Twitter competition!

Simply follow us @RNCMvoice and answer our daily questions (hashtag #beethovencomp) this week for the chance to win tickets to our Beethoven festival.

We have pairs of tickets to the lecture and to see the Henschel Quartet, Talich Quartet and the Endellion Quartet to give away. The evening concerts feature three ‘Razumovsky’ quartets and the late string quartets, Beethoven’s last major compositions before his death in 1827.

So keep your eyes peeled over on our Twitter page and test your Beethoven knowledge to win! You may answer as many questions as you wish and the competition will close on Thursday 10 January at 5pm.
