RNCM Popular Music Musicians Play Wembley and Glastonbury

Last weekend saw RNCM popular music students and alumni performing at two of the world’s most iconic venues.

Ollie Harding (drums, pictured), Harry Gumery (bass) and Charles MacDonald (guitar), who all graduated in 2015, played Wembley Stadium with country duo The Shires on Saturday 24 June, before Charles headed over to Glastonbury on Sunday with fourth year student Tom Stott (keyboards) to perform on the Acoustic Stage with singer Callum Beattie (pictured below).

Andy Stott, Head of Popular Music, said: ‘As our popular music programme matures, increasing amounts of our highly skilled and talented students are working at the highest professional level within the industry – good times…and there’s much more to come I’m sure!’
