Vote for RNCM in I Love Manchester awards

We’re thrilled to have been shortlisted for Most Loved Cultural/Arts Venue in this year’s I Love MCR Awards.

The good news follows an incredible 50th anniversary year which saw us present a celebratory programme of events alongside a feast of community projects and initiatives. If you love what we do and enjoy spending time with us, please vote for us here.

But that’s not all. We’re also proud to share that Alex Bridgeman (below) has been shortlisted for the Young Person of the Year Award.

Alex, aged 17, is an integral and inspirational member of many of our programmes for young people, including Pathfinder (which provides bespoke musical training and support for young people experiencing challenging circumstances), Junior RNCM and Young Projects.

We think she’s an incredible candidate for this award both for her musical talent and commitment at the RNCM and elsewhere in Greater Manchester, and for the support, care and mentorship she provides to many young people trying to find their way in music and society at difficult times in their lives.
