Paul joined the RNCM’s Programming team in November 2017 having previously worked as an Assistant Artist Manager at London-based Rayfield Allied. He now programmes the Spotlight Series at the RNCM and co-ordinates many of the College’s own public promotions and competitions.

Paul studied Music and Musicology at the University of Leeds, gaining a first class honours degree in 2013 and a postgraduate Master’s degree in 2014. His passion is for twentieth century opera and his two dissertations focussed on Béla Bartók’s Bluebeards Castle and Benjamin Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream

As a tenor, Paul sings with Manchester Chamber Choir and St Martin’s Chorus at St Martin-in-the-Fields, London. He also plays the violin with the Illyrian Ensemble.
