Archiving and Ethics

Monday 15 April 2024, 10.30am

Online

Good? Bad? Indifferent? Right? Wrong? Inconsequential? What do these ideas have to do with creating, using and managing history and archives? Meet a real life archivist, our very own Archive and Museum Manager Heather, and find out all about it. Using real examples, you will expect to get answers to questions like: What role does fiction play in creating history? Does the past stay put? Why do we have only part of the story? Do we have a responsibility to the future of history? This series of events is made possible with support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, as part of the RNCM’s project Throwing Open the Concert Doors.

This event is online-only and free to attend. Please register by signing up.

This event will end at approximately 12.30pm.
