Explore@RNCM returns this June, and we can’t wait to welcome you and your family for a day filled with music, creativity, and shared experiences. Join us in the heart of Manchester for an afternoon bursting with live performances, hands-on workshops, and festival favourites. Whether you’re coming with family, friends, or neighbours, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Expect entertainment, circus skills, festival food, face painting, and our incredible House Band, all creating a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. This year, Explore@RNCM is bigger than ever, packed with even more exciting performances and activities to make it a truly special day out.

Performance Highlights:

RNCM Community Chorus 
Discover a brand-new semi-staged operetta, composed by RNCM students Amit Manna and Elena Adams.

Tanante
Experience the spectacular energy of this West African performance group featuring drumming, singing, and dancing.

Tocum Capoeira
Immerse yourself in this Afro-Brazilian cultural artform that combines martial arts, dance, acrobatics, and music.

Circus House
Be dazzled and amazed with a family-friendly circus performance.

Bharatiya Vrund Gaan Indian Choir
Enjoy joyful and uplifting Indian choral music accompanied by the harp and tabla.

Afrocats
Explore dances from around the world with leaders from the award-winning charity.

Sound Bath
Find a moment of calm as Craig Winterburn guides you through an immersive sound bath session.

Manchester Bhangra Society
Discover high-energy South Asian folk dancing from the Punjab region.

Community Chorus Singalong
Give singing a try with Chorus Director David Cane as he conducts an uplifting singing session for curious adult choral singers.
