Wigan Youth Orchestra is delighted to welcome former students and ensemble members, Owen Parr (piano) and Joshua Hales (organ) to perform in this concert.  Josh Hales is also a former Music Service student who was organ scholar at Oxford University before becoming organist at Sheffield Cathedral.

We would like to dedicate our performance of The Organ Symphony to the memory of Josh’s father Peter Hales, who sadly passed away in 2023 and who was an active supporter of the work of Wigan Music Service for over twenty years.
