The RNCM has a dedicated International Office which provides general information and advice, offers support in relation to visas and immigration, holds English language classes, and runs a number of events each year specifically for international students, including International Orientation Days and social functions.

English Language Support

Where an applicant’s IELTS score is below the required level, entry may still be possible with extra language support offered through the RNCM’s Pre-sessional Summer School and In-session English Language provision.

Students can enrol for the RNCM Pre-Sessional English Language course which is held each year.  There is a minimum English requirement for the Course. The RNCM pre-sessional course is designed for students who need time to develop the necessary language skills before embarking on the rigours of a RNCM course of study.  The pre-sessional course also provides an introduction to Britain and British culture, allowing students to become accustomed to the context of their new academic environment.

Once you have registered as a student, if required, in-sessional English Language Support can be provided to help improve your written and spoken English.

A copy of the IELTS certificate (or other recognised English test result) should be sent to the Admissions by 1 April although the original document still needs to be produced at the registration.
