Student Aid Information

The RNCM provides need, and non-needs based support to students. For information about this support, please see:

Facilities and Services Available to Students with Disabilities

Please note that any programme with an internship is not applicable to US students.

Unauthorised use / distribution of copyrighted materials could lead to civil / criminal liability. The RNCM copyright policy can be found in the RNCM Student Handbook, Section 2, page 5.

School and Programme Accreditation, Approval or License

In the UK, the power to award degrees is regulated by law and the Privy Council is responsible for the granting of degree awarding powers and university titles. Please see our Royal Charter

Smoking, Alcohol and Substance Abuse policy

The Student Information handbook contains the policy and procedure.

The US Department of Education provides information on the penalties associated with drug related offences under the US Higher Education Act. Should you lose eligibility for your US student loan as a result of these penalties, we will provide you with a written notice which notifies you of your loss of eligibility and advises you of the ways in which to regain eligibility. Vaccinations policy

The RNCM has no specific policy on vaccinations. We follow guidance from UKCISA, which can be found here.

Textbook Information

The RNCM do not require students to purchase textbooks or music from any specific book shop and any recommended reading list will be provided by the specific school. Should you require specific advice, you should contact the school in the first instance.

Completion and Graduation for Students Receiving Athletically Related Aid

The RNCM do not offer any Athletics related aid or Scholarships.

Placement in Employment

The RNCM submits annual data to DLHE who collate the data and provide students with useful information such as average starting salary and number of students going into work following graduation.

For undergraduate courses, you can view useful statistics from the DLHE survey and National Student Survey via the Key Information Sets available through Discover Uni.

Intercollegiate Athletic Programme Participation Rates and Financial Support Data

The RNCM does not have an intercollegiate athletic programme.

Privacy of Student Records

You have rights under the Data Protection Act 1998. This includes how to make a data access request.

Should you have a complaint about the processing of your US loan, you have the right to file complaints with the US Department of Education, although it would be preferable that you contact us first so that we can try to resolve the problem for you.

Study Abroad Programmes : US students don’t participate in this programme

None Degree Programmes: These are offered but US students don’t participate in Title IV programme.

Written arrangement between an eligible foreign institution and an ineligible entity (34 CFR 600.54(c)) Notwithstanding the information contained in 34 CFR 668.5, written arrangements between an eligible foreign institution and an ineligible entity are limited to those under which the ineligible entity is an institution that meets the definition of “foreign institution” in 34 CFR 600.52. In addition, the ineligible foreign institution can only provide 25 percent or less of the educational program. Written arrangements do not include affiliation agreements for the provision of clinical training for foreign medical, veterinary, and nursing schools.

34 CFR 600.54(c) (1) Notwithstanding 34 CFR 668.5, written arrangements between an eligible foreign institution and an ineligible entity are limited to those under which -(i) The ineligible entity is an institution that meets the requirements in paragraphs (1)(iii) and (iv) of the definition of “foreign institution” in § 600.52; and (ii) The ineligible foreign institution provides 25 percent or less of the educational
