Salary Grade: £45.44 to £55.79 per hour (pending pay review, dependent on experience)

The School of Strings is looking to appoint an inspiring and informed musician who has an established reputation in guiding young string players towards realising their musical aspirations and potential.
We are seeking to appoint a new Professor of Violin and are looking for a professional violinist with a strong and widely held reputation as a teacher and performer. Essential is their online profile, contact-base and influence to bring students to the RNCM. They will have a proven track record of having taught highly skilled violinists as they prepare to find their niche within the breadth of the music profession. They will possess a working knowledge of violin schooling and have had experience of delivering detailed technical foundation work in their approach.
