BEDI Project Funding: Details and Application Form

As part of our commitment to creating a fully inclusive environment for staff and students, we’re launching the second BEDI Project Fund 23/24.

Over the past 12 months we’ve supported projects delivering  Intimacy Training for Vocal Students, the Underrepresented Competition, the Empower Women Event and two projects looking at the audience experience of people who are Neurodiverse. It’s been great to see the impact of these projects around the RNCM and we want to do more.

Again, we are offering staff and students the chance to receive funding anywhere between £100 and £2000 to develop an innovative project that brings a service, experience or enhancement not already provided by the RNCM or SU.

Things to note:

• Projects must be extra-curricular (not used for student assessment).
• Staff and student collaboration is encouraged and will get priority in the bidding process.
• Successful applicants must complete an Impact Report no later than 30 June 2023.
• The BEDI Forum will decide how funds are allocated and not all bids will be successful.

Download the application form on this page and submit to Catherine Newell no later than 12 January. Decisions on funding approval will be delivered by 1 February.
