Conservatoires in time of war

The Paris-Manchester project included an international conference, ‘Les Institutions musicales à Paris et à Manchester pendant la première guerre mondiale’ [Musical Institutions in Paris and Manchester during the First World War], which was held at the Opéra Comique and the Paris Conservatoire on 5 and 6 March 2018.  The research team from the AHRC-funded Making Music in Manchester participated in the conference.  Here are the contributions of the PI and Co-I on the project, Professor Barbara L. Kelly and Dr. Geoff Thomason.
