Devon Bonelli
Devon is studying his PhD in Composition with his supervisors Prof. Emily Howard, Dr Simon Clarke, Dr Sam Salem, and Dr Robert Jackson.
Devon’s research involves using a practice-based approach to interrogate socio-political structures with his music. His research focuses primarily on the thinker Gilles Deleuze and how his modes of differentiation, structure, and philosophy of immanence can influence a musical composition.
Devon completed his MMus in Composition and Musicology at the RNCM in 2020 and his BA in Music and Philosophy at the University of Nottingham in 2019.
