Dr Kathryn Williams | PRiSM Post-Doctoral Research Associate Appointed

Dr Kathryn Williams appointed as PDRA with RNCM PRiSM to conduct collaborative research in accessible technology, indoor air quality and musicians’ health & wellbeing.

PRiSM and “MusAI: Building Critical Interdisciplinary Studies”

PRiSM welcomed Professor Georgina Born and her MusAI team to give two public seminars at RNCM, one as part of the ‘MusAI Series’ co-organised with The Alan Turing Institute.

Dr Sam Salem | Practitioner in Residence of the Warburg Institute

Dr Sam Salem is the first composer to be appointed as a Practitioner in Residence to research music, symbols, mythology, and technology at the Warburg Institute.

Dr Hongshuo Fan | New RNCM PRiSM Research Software Engineer Appointed

RNCM PRiSM is joined by artist-technologist Dr Hongshuo Fan as the Centre’s new Research Software Engineer in April 2023.

Emily Howard: TORUS | New Release on NMC Recordings

Released on NMC Recordings on 28 April 2023, Professor Emily Howard’s new portrait album ‘Torus’ features her recent Orchestral Geometries series exploring “internalised shape-energies”.

Dr Robert Laidlow | ‘Silicon’ and New PRiSM Associate

Dr Robert Laidlow featured on BBC Radio 3, following successful world premiere of Silicon (2022) with BBC Philharmonic and being awarded PhD in composition in 2022.
