Small (1998) places the meaning of ‘musicking’ in ‘exploring, affirming, celebrating’ relationships with others.

It is through these relationships that Danielle suggests that identities are formed. Her thesis sought to illuminate some aspects of the influence of ‘musicking’ in Grenada upon identity.
